A client's AI questionnaire lands on your desk
"Which AI tools do you use? Does our data go into them? Are your people trained?" Deadline: Monday. You're not sure what the honest answer is.
The EU AI rules, made practical for every employee
Do you know with which data?
Your free first step into the platform · 8 questions · find out what your team needs to learn · no sign-up needed · not legal advice
Greenlight AI gets your whole team up to speed with the EU AI rules: the EU AI Act, GDPR and your client contracts, in NL, FR and EN. So your company can use AI with confidence, and prove it.
A learning platform with practical tools: short, role-based courses for all staff, leadership, DPO, IT and HR, a living knowledge base in plain language, a certificate for every learner, and the templates to put the rules into practice.
Our mission · the rules, made practical
We get every employee up to speed with the rules that apply when they use AI at work, so your company can use AI with confidence. Four rule sets, each explained for your role, in NL, FR and EN, and linked to the tools to apply it.
The EU's law on AI. The AI Omnibus (in force 27 July 2026) moved some dates and softened the AI-literacy duty: companies must now take measures to support their staff's AI literacy (Art. 4). No certificate is required, but it is still an obligation.
What it means for your team: know which uses are banned, when AI content must be labelled, and that AI used to hire or evaluate staff becomes high-risk from 2 December 2027.
Not changed by the Omnibus. As soon as a text contains information about an identifiable person, GDPR applies: a processor agreement with the vendor (Art. 28), care with transfers outside the EEA, and only the minimum data needed.
What it means for your team: no company data in personal AI accounts, and special categories such as health data never go into a general AI tool.
Even when GDPR allows it, the client contract may not. Watch for confidentiality and NDA clauses, approval of new sub-processors, and professional secrecy for lawyers, accountants and doctors.
What it means for your team: three checks before you paste anything: is the tool approved, is it OK under GDPR, does the contract allow it? Not sure? Treat it as red and ask.
Every lesson has an EU core and a Belgian layer: the Belgian Data Protection Authority's guidance on AI and GDPR, sector rules such as the Flemish Bar's AI guidelines for lawyers, and informing employee representatives when AI comes into HR. Belgium's AI Act supervisor and sanctions are not yet defined (October 2026).
What it means for your team: answers that fit your Belgian reality, updated when Belgium fills in the details.

"Which AI tools do you use? Does our data go into them? Are your people trained?" Deadline: Monday. You're not sure what the honest answer is.

On a personal account, "because it was faster". Is that a GDPR issue? An NDA breach? Who do you even tell?
Every day
The ban looks safe on paper. In practice, work just moved to tools you can't see, with data you can't control.
80% of AI users in small and medium businesses bring their own AI tools to work (Microsoft Work Trend Index, 2024). Banning AI doesn't stop it. It just hides it.
Courses
Five role-based tracks with 63 short lessons. Each lesson takes 5–10 minutes, answers one practical question and ends with a quick check. Everyone starts with the All staff track; the other tracks build on it. In Dutch, French and English.
Each track is a card. Flip one to see what's inside.
Every track · for every learner
No certificate is legally required under the AI Act. Ours document the measures you took.
How it works
Take the 2-minute AI Readiness self-assessment. You get a score, your top risks and the course tracks each role should start with, then start your free plan.
Start the self-assessmentEvery role follows its own track: short 5–10 minute lessons in NL, FR or EN, each ending with a quick check. A living knowledge base explains the EU and Belgian rules in plain language and is updated when they change.
Put the lessons into practice with the tools included in your courses: an AI usage policy, a register of approved tools ("which tool for which data"), the "Can I use this tool?" checker, DPIA templates and contract clauses.
A certificate for every learner and track, a company badge, and an evidence log and audit trail you can show clients, auditors and in tenders.
What's inside
EU and Belgian context in plain language, in NL, FR and EN, kept up to date as rules change and improved by the questions members ask.
A certificate per learner and track, showing the content version and completion date, plus a company evidence log (PDF) of who completed what and which policies they acknowledged.
AI usage policy, approved-tools register, DPIA for AI, a client-contract clause library, vendor checklists and an incident playbook, each linked to the lesson that explains it. Built to be reviewed with legal partners, ready to adapt.
A vendor-neutral comparison of AI tools and a route to vetted partners who deploy EU-hosted or private models, when you're ready.

Practical tools included with your courses
Every course comes with the tools to apply it. Try two of them now, free: the "Can I use this tool?" checker and three templates from the course toolkit.
Tool · Can I use this tool?
Based on the green, amber and red data rule taught in lesson A2.2 and set out in our AI usage policy template. The deciding factor is usually the version of the tool (personal or company account), not the brand.
Choose a tool and a type of data, then press Check.
Included templates · free preview
Members get them inside the courses, next to the lessons that explain them. Drafts built to be reviewed with legal partners: adapt them with your DPO or lawyer before you adopt them.
A 10-minute-read policy: approved tools, the green/amber/red data rule, checking output, transparency, incidents, training and roles.
One sheet that answers "which tool for which data": plan, vendor, hosting, DPA, training on data, approved data class, conditions.

The real dates
No scare tactics: for most SMEs the realistic risk today is GDPR, client contracts and lost tenders, not an AI Act fine. But these dates are fixed.
Measures to support staff AI literacy (Art. 4, softened by the Omnibus) and the first prohibited practices, such as emotion recognition at work.
Transparency duties (Art. 50), e.g. labelling deepfakes. National authorities start supervising. The Omnibus entered into force on 27 July 2026.
Ban on AI systems that generate non-consensual intimate content or child sexual abuse material. Marking deadline for generative systems already on the market.
AI used to recruit, screen CVs, evaluate or monitor staff becomes high-risk. SMEs using such tools take on deployer duties.
For manufacturers that put AI into machinery, toys, lifts, medical devices and other regulated products.

On-site expert session
A fixed-scope package at your office, given by a specialist from our partner network: a lawyer, DPO, accountant or IT partner. It builds on the courses on the platform, so what your team learns on the day keeps going afterwards.
Decide what's allowed: which AI tools, for which data, and who signs off. You leave with the outline of your AI usage policy.
A hands-on session for your staff on safe, everyday AI use, with real examples from your sector. Learners continue on the platform afterwards.
The expert looks at the AI tools you use, the data that goes into them and your client-contract questions, and gives you a prioritised action list.
Price on request. We're shaping this offer with our partners: tell us what you need and we'll come back to you with a proposal.
Not legal advice. Expert sessions are delivered by independent specialists, not by Greenlight AI. Any advice they give is their own, under their own terms.

FAQ
No. Greenlight AI is a learning platform: role-based courses, a knowledge base and certificates that teach your team to use AI safely at work. Practical tools such as templates, the "Can I use this tool?" checker, the Readiness Check and an audit trail are included to help you put the lessons into practice. They don't make your company compliant on their own, and nothing on the platform is legal advice. For decisions specific to your situation, consult a qualified lawyer or your DPO.
The EU AI Act, including what changed with the AI Omnibus of July 2026, GDPR when using AI tools, the confidentiality and sub-processor clauses in your client contracts, and the Belgian context. Each is explained in plain language for each role, with what it means in daily work. See the rules, made practical above. General information, not legal advice.
Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks companies that use AI to take measures to support the AI literacy of their staff. Since the AI Omnibus (in force 27 July 2026), it no longer requires a guaranteed level, and formal certification isn't mandatory. We see it as a sensible baseline. The bigger reasons are safe productivity and what your clients expect.
It depends on the tool tier (consumer vs business), how the provider uses and stores data, where it's hosted, and what your client contracts say. Try the tool checker above for a first answer, then record your decisions in an AI-tool register.
Your score is calculated in your browser. Your individual answers are only sent to us if you ask for the full report, together with your email, so we can follow up. Without an email we only record an anonymous "check completed" event with the overall rating, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you. We don't sell or share your data.
No certificate is legally required or officially "accredited" under the AI Act. Our certificates and evidence log document the measures you took, which is useful to show clients, auditors and in tenders.
Five role tracks: all staff (AI literacy), leadership and owners, DPO and compliance, IT and MSPs, and HR and hiring managers, plus sector packs. Lessons take 5 to 10 minutes and answer one practical question each, such as "Can I paste client data into ChatGPT?". Each lesson ends with a short check, and each track ends with a certificate. See the courses above.
Yes. The on-site expert session is a fixed-scope package: a leadership workshop, a team learning session and a short AI readiness review, given in your office by an independent specialist from our partner network, such as a lawyer, DPO, accountant or IT partner. Prices are on request while we shape the offer with our partners. It is not legal advice: any advice comes from the specialist, under their own terms.

No. It's built for companies with 10 to 249 people, priced per company rather than per head. A 20-person team on the Team plan works out at about €30 per person per year.
No. Our tool comparisons are vendor-neutral. The provider directory lists vetted partners for EU-hosted or private deployments if you want help, and you're never obliged to use them.
No. The platform, the Readiness Check and the tool checker provide general information, training and templates. They are not legal advice. For decisions specific to your situation, consult a qualified lawyer or your DPO.
